Monday, April 13th South Florida High School Sports Radio Show Rewind

One of the most popular radio shows of its kind returned to Monday night this week for a quick one-hour show.

Three football-oriented guests were featured as the South Florida High School Sports Show once again presented some interesting information.

Each week, the FM 104.3 WQAM radio program attracts the newsmakers in high school sports, recruiting college sports – not only locally, but throughout the country.

The show gives listeners an opportunity to hear about college football programs statewide from the media that cover them. It also focuses on the coaches who use the state of Florida – Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in particular.

The program, which has run for nearly two decades and has been recognized nationally as one of the best of its kind, has become a popular listen for recruiting fans as well as high school sports purists, focusing on high sports and the newsmakers.

Here is a look at the way Monday night went:

It has been a special 2026 already for the University of Miami football program with a national championship appearance and now the Hurricanes have the chance to show the country the next wave of talent in Coral Gables. This Saturday at 10 a.m., the team will host its spring game and Alex Donno from Locked On Canes spoke about it and much more.

This Friday night, Florida Atlantic University (FAU) will host its annual spring game on campus and second in the Zach Kittley era as some quality players will showcase plenty of talent. The face of FAU sports – Frank Forte – talked about the improvement of the Owls.

On Saturday, Gator Nation had the opportunity to watch new head coach Jon Sumrall and the Florida Gators in their annual spring game in Gainesville. Several returnees along with newcomers stepped up as big plays were made and key prospects stepped up. As he has been doing for a long time, Kevin Brockway from the Gainesville Sun broke down the game and how much we all learned about this program this spring.
