THE SCOOP

With a playoff appearance in hand, this is a program that approaches the 2022 season with plenty of optimism – realizing that hard work and year-round dedication can add up to some positives.

Instead of playing on the four losses, the Lions need to pay more attention to the wins from this past season.

Victories over Boca Raton St. John Paul II (33-20), Hollywood Surge Academy (41-6), Boynton Beach Somerset Canyons (28-14), Homestead Everglades Prep (42-0), Coconut Creek North Broward Prep (33-14), Homestead Somerset Academy South (27-0) and Miami Palmer Trinity (57-18) gave many of the underclassmen a belief that they can win games and improve from year to year.

After another productive spring, here is a look at some of the prospects to keep an eye on:
