It seems to happen every year and as we head toward Week 6 of the high school football season, it is moving along way too fast.
As many teams are still in the hunt for the inaugural “Open Division”, others are just looking to make it into the post season and still compete for state titles in 1A-6A classes.
Because there is always an effort to get every team involved, independent leagues have also been formed – and that has kept the interest throughout the entire season.
For those looking to win “mainstream” state titles, district matchups will take place in the coming weeks. It will create some impressive matchups.
