Defensive Backs Shined At South Florida Combine

Over the past week, we have promoted every position and prospect who attended our South Florida Combine – Miami event. Today, we close this combine out with a look at with defensive backs who came out and worked hard.

In addition, via social media, EVERY athlete will be promoted throughout the rest of their career – keeping them in the spotlight. PARENTS: All this for $40 total!

2024

Rashard Carter, DB, 5-9, 160, Miami Norland – 4.4 GPA. With the addition of a number of impressive football players in this off-season, this is going to be one you will want to keep an eye. Soldi talent who has experience on his side.

Ryan Gonzalez, CB, 5-11, 170, Miami Archbishop Carroll – 3.5 GPA. A gifted young man who brings so much to the table as a student/athlete. Was a catalyst this past season for the Bulldogs.

Jaylen Morris, S, 5-10, 150, Miami Edison – 3.6 GPA. Talk about a football talent who is a leader and has plenty of talent. In addition to what he does on the field, he has made himself a true prospect with his work in the classroom.

Caleb Solomon, DB, 6-1, 180, Miramar – 4.5 GPA. Another player who not only tested well, but showed how gifted he was and will be for the Patriots in 2023. Solid football prospect.

Cameron Williams, DB, 5-9, 165, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas – 3.2 GPA. On a team loaded with gifted athletes, the experience that this young man has been able to pick up has been valuable. The Raiders shine the spotlight on all their student/athletes.

2025

Cameron Anderson, DB, 6-0, 160, Miami Norland – 3.5 GPA. Depth was a problem for the Vikings last season down the stretch, but with the addition of 14 football prospects in the off-season so far, gifted prospects like this will truly benefit and enhance his status.

Tywan Cox, DB, 5-10, 160, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna – 3.0 GPA. Follows in the footsteps of a family that has gotten it done for decades on the football field – at an elite level – and on the track as a runner. Solid football who always wants to improve!

Terrell Franklin, S, 5-11, 175, Miami St. Brendan – 3.2 GPA. When you look at head coach Steve Smith’s Sabres, it’s student/athletes like this that help to lift the level of play. Will do anything it takes to impact his football team. Also a quality student.

Dylan McCarthy, DB, 5-10, 155, Weston Cypress Bay – 3.0 GPA. One of many difference makers that head coach Bret Hood and his Lightning will be relying on to lift this team to that next level. This is a versatile football player who is gaining valuable experience.

Willie White, DB, 5-9, 170, Miami Beach – 3.4 GPA. One of the emerging football players in south Florida that has a chance to step to the next level as everyone will be watching. After some off-season combines, spring will be vital to his success moving forward.

2026

Javari Flowers, CB, 6-0, 180, Miami Central – 3.6 GPA. The four-time defending state champions seem to churn out this kind of football talent who combines so much that college coaches love. Has two full years to continue to showcase so many skills – on and off the playing field.

Walter “Deuce” Olden II, DB, 5-10, 160, Miami True North Classical Academy – 3.4 GPA. In a year where this young program came within one game of heading to the 1M state title game there are always going to be some unsung young players. Here is one of those impressive football players who continues to work hard throughout the year.

William Secola, S, 5-10, 135, Miami Archbishop Carroll – 3.33 GPA. The Bulldogs may have fallen short of their goals this past season, but head coach Jorge Zagales and this football team looked to plenty of young prospects to keep them in the spotlight for years to come.

2027

Angelo Smith, DB, 5-8, 135, Carol City Middle School. You can never start too young, and for this quality talent, the future is going to be very bright. By attending his first ever high school combine he is now ready for the future and will be back many, many times.
