Coral Glades Football Hosts Team Media Day

CORAL SPRINGS - From the day that veteran head football coach Rocco Casullo arrived on campus at Coral Glades High School, he made it clear that this program would make an impact.

With several changes made over the past two years, the Jaguars hosted their on-campus media day, introducing players and coaches who have put in the work this off-season and are moving closer to the promise that their head coach made.

As they talked about the upcoming season and took photos, this program hosted something that officially kicked off the new season.

“We put in a lot of work and have been teaching and developing these young men,” said Casullo. “Because of the coaching they are receiving and the commitment from our administration, we can host a day like this for our own team – celebrating what we continue to put in.”

As several seniors spoke about what they expect this season, you could tell that there is a lot of optimism for the future of this team.

Among those Class of 2026 prospects include:

Anthony Casseus, DB/WR, 6’1, 175 – 3.7 GPA.

Ethan Claire, RB, 5’10, 190 – 4.2 GPA.

Tyler Coury, QB, 6’0, 160

Jaidyn Dantinor, SS/LB, 6’0, 175 – 3.0 GPA.

Daniel Jackson, LB, 6’0, 195 – 3.6 GPA.

Joseph Kogon, WR, 5’8, 150 – 3.5 GPA.

Jordan Roberts, DB, 6’2, 165 – 4.0 GPA.

Sam Zayed, WR, 5’10, 170 – 3.9 GPA.

UNDERCLASSMEN WILL CERTAINLY TURN THE JAGUARS AROUND

As the senior class will provide leadership and experience, this program is loaded with young players who are developing by dedicating themselves to getting better and putting things together daily.

Some of the 2027 juniors will make a solid contribution:

Bryce Cox, WR, 6’2, 168.

Jayden Gonzalez, DL.

Abraham Gray Jr., OL/DL, 6’2, 278 – 2.5 GPA.

Julian Madero, LB/SS, 5’11, 180 – 3.1 GPA.

Nelson Naud, DT, 6’1, 250 -3.6 GPA.

Bryan Pierre, DE, 6’2, 235 – 2.6 GPA.

Jayden Pierre, NT, 5’10, 240- 2.9 GPA.

Ryan Pierre, DE, 6’2, 230 – 2.8 GPA.

Jayden Snow, WR, 5’11, 150 – 2.7 GPA.

Joset Teijeiro, OT/DE, 6’3, 230 – 2.94 GPA.

Samuel Utsch, TE/DE, 6’0, 190.

If the Class of 2027 juniors are going to set the tone, many new faces for the Class of 2028 are also ready to make a major impact:

Kayo De Rezende, QB, 5’11, 165 – 4.5 GPA.

James Griffis, P/K, 6’1, 170.

Mike Hall III, WR, 5’10, 160.

Makhai Harris, OG, 5’11, 260.

Saadiq King Lyon, RB, 5’10, 160.

Wensley Mombrun, RB, 5’6, 150 – 2.6 GPA.

“These young men who have worked hard in the off-season are going to be part of something special,” Casullo explained. “It’s a shame that some of the prospects we had put in so much work to get better and to put themselves on the recruiting radar, only to leave in the past few months, but we cannot be consumed with those who don’t want to buy into what we are building out here.”
