5 Fresh Miami-Dade/Broward Faces For The Class of 2025

While many recruiting services and fan websites are consumed with star-rated football prospects, which often sell subscriptions, we have done just the opposite over the years.

Yes, we still pay attention to the football talent that every college and fan knows all about – needing little exposure – our main objective is to make sure that we have everyone covered, providing the exposure that many truly need.

With hundreds and hundreds of college coaches checking in on our year-round promotion – at every level – the spotlight that we shine often shifts from state-rated athletes to football talent that are new to many fans.

You can only uncover these gifted young men by going to watch them perform when other recruiting “gurus” are nowhere to be found.

What we do is rewarding and quite gratifying, and coaches, athletes and parents understand how important is to see us out at afternoon games and actually seeing their talent. It’s the only way we know how to cover recruiting. No shortcuts or sitting behind a computer.

When we travel year-round to games, practices, camps, combine and 7-on-7 events – it’s all about watching these risings standouts live and finding out plenty about them.

Today, we take a look at five Class of 2025 “Fresh Faces” in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties:

Dante Alexander, Athlete, 6-3, 200, Miami Springs. Armed with an impressive 2.9 grade point average, this versatile talent has already turned heads for the Golden Hawks with his ability to pretty much play anywhere on the field. His four interceptions and 33 tackles on the defensive side of the ball gave colleges a chance to see what a game-changer he is. On offense, his five touchdowns provided this program with someone who was not a just factor but a quality teammate. Has the size and skill to be a force for years to come.

Nathan Avael, SS/QB, 5-10, 160, Miami Varela. When you watch this versatile talent perform, you can see right away what an impact player he is. Whether it’s on defense or as a quarterback for the Vipers, this quality talent is a true leader, which is huge for someone only headed into his junior season. In addition to what he brings to the table as a football player and a special teams player, his work in the classroom has produced a 3.3 GPA.

Jacques Dixson Jr., RB, 5-9, 185, Fort Lauderdale NSU University School. While he may not be the biggest player on the field, this is someone who sparked this football team with his ability to run hard, find holes and runs to daylight. Has deceptive speed and is not easy to bring down on first contact. He has also shown that he can catch the ball out of the backfield. In addition to his play on field, he is also getting it done in the classroom – with an impressive 3.7 GPA. Haw two seasons left to continue growing and maturing, and colleges will continue to watch.

Matias Garcia, OL/DL, 6-3, 270, Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian Academy. Watching him play this past season, this is a promising young man who has added and inch and gained 17 pounds over a year. A two-way player with a motor that never stops. Just when you think he’s out of a play on defense, he follows the runner and makes an impact. On the offensive side of the ball, he is getting bigger and stronger and with that comes a lot of confidence. This is one of those prospects who figures to blow up over the next two seasons and give the Eagles yet another collegiate prospect to keep an eye on.

Rudy Pages, LT/DE, 6-4, 230, Miami Ransom Everglades. This may be one of those football players that just takes off and we first saw that this past year as this two-way standout showed exactly what he brings to the table. Easily as talented and physical a prospect as you will find. While he is an aggressive and gifted offensive lineman, what he brings to the table on the defensive side of the ball is a quick, strong and talented player that is a MUST SEE for colleges at ALL levels. As he grows, matures and gets stronger his confidence will soar. Did we mention that he happens to hold down a 3.8 GPA in the classroom!
